Why Study at the University of Kansas?
Endowed funding from a wealthy Economics Department alumnus, Charles Oswald,
have given the Economics Department at this university a comparative advantage
over economics departments at most other state universities. In fact, the
undergraduate program in economics is now known as the Oswald Program in
Economics, and much of the research produced by the faculty and graduate
students is funded by Oswald endowment funds.
